All of this is going to change even faster now with the rise of AI. At UniqueYou we have worked extensively on how these changes will affect our quality of and relationship with work. In the future, humans will see work as much more than just financial security. We will choose work to channel and express our unique talents to enjoy what we do. Our ability to choose compatible job roles, learn new skills, encourage hybrid working, and develop our “self” will keep changing the way we relate to work.
What kind of freedom will this life bring?
In a conventional work environment, there are not many opportunities for us to have enough freedom to remain true to our natural disposition and we end up trying to fit into the job by pretending we’re someone [TF2] else and end up being manipulated by the work. This gives us constant stress and a sense of being less than, and so to come out of it we end up pretending even more, leading to a vicious cycle.
Can we ever be authentic to our work and stop pretending to fit into the system?
Since the dawn of the internet, not to mention smartphones, big data, cloud technology, e-commerce, and social media, humans have become more and more empowered. Technology advancements have a great impact on the way we think, express ourselves, and dream. Technology is changing our values, aspirations, meaning of life, and the approach we take to accomplish goals and find fulfillment.
